  What a round
Congrats Gakra on the race win. Punished me for making my changes late on! Very, very close race between a lot of teams. I feel sorry for Margaret on the fastest lap! Predicted it perfectly, but doesn't get an award, as someone else did too, but earlier! Rare to see that, as normally, just being 1-2 thousandths off will earn the fastest lap prize.

Main championship's heating up nicely. Katalyst not slipping up, Dominik right in there, Schumacher looking dangerous due to getting a lot of the bad tyre out of the way, then, Gakra, Maverick and Chris not far off either (to name but a few).

Behind the two people I really don't want to play catch up against in the constructors. Definitely needing Dominik to slip up there to stand a chance, as he's stretching away at the top.

Lots of big names in the Eliminator, competing to be the first champion of that.

Champions Racing League might be more interesting than I initially thought. Thought Maverick was away and gone (still has a decent lead though). Expecting Schumacher might close in after Singapore, as he has a ton of ERS to use!

Then in the Cup, there could be some big, big draws early on. Could be Maverick v Dominik (assuming he gets through his WC round). Schumacher (if he gets through his WC round) would face a very dangerous Hase, while some big names fell in the groups.

Shaping up to be an exciting final stretch of the season on all fronts! Bring on Singapore!

@Chris so you mean if Vettel would not be awarded to the podium you would have beat me last round? i was not aware of it actually.. what would the points had to be in that case? ...

well to be honest luck was on my side at this last race also.. 4 things came together during the race for me to win it.. first, Raikonnen crashed out. no way i won it with both ferraris are finishing the race, plus Vettel spun and lost multiple places, then redbull had a terrible call and put intermediates on their drivers which allowed mercedes to secure finish 1-2 and that meant maximum points for me. and lastly Alonso spun off and dropped back to the bottom of the field which killed the last hopes for Honda engine selected teams.

i think even all Liras in the world would not be enough to manage all of those come together

renault, u have a very nice season. i just have one team with a good performance. your performance in all your teams is impressive.
but i think, in view of the last eleminator-round, your luck should be outraged I still believe you paid maverick some lira to reduce the redbullpoints and kick me out of the eleminator instead of you. :D

Thanks CarlisleFrost, Thanks Chris I admit it was important to win the first ever Eliminator Competition and i am more than satisfied that i achieved it.. to be honest after qualification round i thought that i lost it. i chose Hamilton to finish second in qualification and after Rosberg's last lap that happened to be the right choice until the very last sector of the very last lap of Hamilton. In the end he found this extra .100 over Rosberg and at that moment i thought i lost it all. The race also didn't start for my favor with Erickson crashing out but everything turned around for my favor from that moment on

I am playing this Fantasy game for 11 years already and this has turned out to be -by far- the best season i have ever had. I think with Renault returning back to F1 with full works team i found enough motivation to follow all the races Unlike the previous years, this season i only missed one race to set a team. (and unfortunately that happened to be the very race which Ocon started racing with Manor)

anyway i have nothing to complain about.. I won the Eliminator, I am in the very comfortable lead in the other two leagues i am racing in, with only one race to go.. and above all i am in the second seed at PFRL World Championship just behind Schumacher. together we are forming a 1-2 all Turkish lead of course i would fancy winning it all but Schumacher did excellent job using ERS and also managing his tire choices through out the season.. unless a miracle happens it is almost impossible to pass him.. i think in the last race i should more worry about keeping this second seed than beating him.. CarlisleFrost and Chris is consistently doing great jobs at last couple of races and my gap to them is less than comfortable with the fact that i must use options in the last race..

Bring on Abu Dhabi

Well, fair to say Brazil was a crazy race! Lots of drama there and that meant lots here.

Glad to pick up the race win, and the highest race score of the year. It'll take a very wild next race for that to get beaten!

Penultimate "review" of the season....
- World Championship: Not too much movement at the top-end of the championship, with all the main teams scoring big. Katalyst lost second, due to a lower budget and having to use option tyres, with Renault Rules moving up. With both those two having to use options in the final race, Schumacher's sitting very pretty in 1st place. With a ton of ERS, Renault Rules is probably safe in 2nd too, with the main battle likely to be for 3rd, between Katalyst, myself and Chris. It's gonna be close there!

- Constructors: I had a huge score in the race, but with Schumacher getting the second highest race score and only dropping a little over 10 points, he still has a 20.1 point cushion. Barring any huge shocks, I'd expect the top 2 to remain the same after the next race. Big fight's for third between two legends of the game; Dominik and Maverick, who are separated by less than a point.

- Eliminator: I thought this was going to be close, with Renault Rules as the favourite, and that's how this one went. Big qualifying scores from Schumacher and two0one4 put them ahead coming into the race, but the superior budget of Renault Rules just got him to victory, 5 points clear. Gambles from the smaller budget team of GaKra, and Frederic Fillieux on options didn't work out. So, massive congrats to Renault Rules for winning the first ever Eliminator competition. You hold a prize no one else does!

- Champions Racing League: Talk about a huge swing in a competition. My team getting the highest score on the site meant 25 points, while Palmer's retirement and Williams's poor race meant only 2 points for Maverick. So close too, as another 7 points on his score would have got him an extra 10 points. What it means is we come into the final race with a 2-way tie at the top, with Allrace and Daijhi a point apart in the battle for 3rd. With an 11m budget advantage, this is the first point I've felt good about my chances (so, I'll probably collapse in the last race!). However it ends, it has been an honor fighting through the season against Maverick for the title.

- PFRL Cup: Crashnburn gambled for the Cup final (with a huge budget deficit, it had to be done), and luck went my way. No retirements doing much damage, giving me the win, which was teed up by a big score in qualifying. Good battle, crash. Shame the runner up doesn't get a trophy, as you had a fantastic run to the final (beating Maxwell and Hiensi, who are both big names). For me, I'm relieved to get my hands on this one, and a first major title.

- Pro League & Rookie League: In the Pro league, the title may as well be given to Renault Rules early, as he has utterly dominated that league this year. 82 points clear and with a load of ERS for the final race. Futchi moves up to 2nd by a solid margin, and looks strong to hold that. Maxwell's tyre advantage probably puts him in the best position to take third, but that will be close between several teams. Depends who makes the best choices/gets lucky in two weeks' time!
For the Rookie league, Alan Partridge widened his already immense lead, which is now up to 108 points. Amazing debut season and a well-deserved trophy is heading his way. His best team is 16th overall, which is phenomenal. Behind him, we have a 3-way battle for the 2nd and 3rd place trophies, with just 15 points between thefunctionofyou in 2nd, Bleirohr in 3rd, and Weinkellerx in 4th. All to play for there.

One more race to go of the 2016 season, and plenty up for grabs. No pressure Schumacher!

damn it. im frustrated. i missed the first eleminator-title, my first at all, because of a new interpretation of a rule. this result would be enough for it..

nevertheless congrats to frosti an renault rules for your titles.

Hah, true. Qualifying definitely gave me an advantage, but that can easily be wiped out. I won't be thinking about celebrating until the race is over!

well actually i didn't do it on purpose. i thought this team is the best i can get. i was watching the top5 what they were doing though. i already screw up my mubin racing team doing 4 changes in constructors even though i've huge advantage there. i panicked at the end and just saved my eliminator team at the last moment. messy weekend for me.
