  Suggestion for 2017 season
Hi..with 2017 season opener come nearer, I guess it is not late for some suggestion.

1st, for national championship, the necessity of 22 teams & 11 owners may not be a problem for Europe countries especially. But outside that, to have even 5 owners also a struggle. With total players decreasing year by year, I am hoping PFRL team can readjust the minimum values for teams & owners for national championship. A lot of us may don't even have a chance for the overall title, but at least, with the readjustment, we can try be our national champion.

2nd, the usual extraordinary components cost adjustment issue. Every year this issue always arise. There no wrong or right I guess. But it looks like the current practice not so popular with some, & it keep arise season by season. I think PFRL team should take a look & find a solution so that it satisfy all. Thus, players increasing, the games become more exciting.

Yes, I know PFRL team trying to be fair by making every team similar in team cost. Extraordinary adjustment after pre-season tests (before 1st race), I'm totally agree, no doubt about that. Extraordinary adjustment during the season, I'm agree with the adjustment, on-form component increase in value & off-form component decrease in value. With the current practice, PFRL team achieve to make similar team cost where those team with on-form component need to sell those component in order to make the balance cost not negative. I get the idea. However, the disadvantage of the PFRL current practice is it looks like PFRL 'punish' the teams which have great start to their season. Say 2016 season, I start with Haas chassis, but after the adjustment, I have to sell Haas & able to buy Sauber only. A bit unfair I guess. At least, let me keep the Haas.

IMHO, I think it is fairer if those teams that have that particular component can keep the post-adjustment cost whether increase or decrease. If it increase, it shows PFRL reward the owners that choose the on-form component. If it decrease, it show PFRL punish the owners that choose out-of-form component. Either way, they deserve that. I do think after the adjustment, there shouldn't be negative balance for every team. Just adjust their team value according to the components values. From there, let the owners try to make their teams better, whether the team values now 120 mio or 80 mio. I think this is the way it should.

Take a look at English Premier League Fantasy Games for example. Last season Leicester was overachieve, the fantasy teams with Leicester players got many points with the inexpensive players. Their values did increase over time but the teams still can have them. Its not like you need to change to other inexpensive players when the Leicester players values increase.

Thanks. Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticize, I'm just think PFRL can be better, hoping PFRL will be a great F1 fantasy games..

Hello!

Thank you for your feedback.

1st, PFRL is going to offer Continental Championships in addition to National Championships. Players from countries WITHOUT an own National Championship compete to each other in a Continental Championship.

2nd, Extraordinary cost adjustments only change component prices and do not alter the team budgets. It's a quite fair process and it's the same situation for every player. I know that it's a quite unpopular feature, but I don't know a better solution. Believe me or not, it is necessary for the game play. 120 Mio. budgets after 3 races would make no sense. The challenging game play works only with tight budgets.
I hope that we won't need an extraordinary cost adjustment this season. But because of the new regulations it's not very likely.

Kind regards
Maverick
